Having a water production test run on your well is an essential step to making sure you will have water when you need it. Typically a family of 4 will use 400 gallons of water a day. A production test will tell you the gallons per minute that the well produces along with how much is in the column of water that is stored in the well (think of this as the wells internal reservoir). Essentially after performing this test, we can tell you if you have enough water to irrigate a field or have a large family reunion or event at your home along with many other scenarios. This can also tell us if we need to install a reservoir. If you have a well that does not produce enough water for all of your needs; a reservoir would allow more water to be stored for when it is needed if you have a low producing well.
