About Blue Ridge Waterworks: Local Well & Water System Professionals

Anchored in Boone, North Carolina, Blue Ridge Waterworks formed in 2019 when the owners decided to build something that would provide for their family while also serving the community. With years spent working in the local well industry, they understand the need for, and challenges associated with, supplying dependable water to homes, farms, businesses, and rural properties throughout the High Country.

The company started small in 2019, operating from the family home. In 2023 as business grew, Blue Ridge Waterworks moved to the current location at 1655 NC Hwy 194 N in Boone.

Helping High Country Property Owners Solve Well & Water Problems

For homeowners who rely on a well, problems can arise quickly and cause many disruptions. No water from the faucet, low water pressure, a failing well pump, poor water quality, or an aging water system can interfere with everything from cooking and bathing to laundry and everyday cleaning.

Landowners face additional challenges. Before building on property that does not have access to municipal water, it is essential to develop a dependable water source with a properly designed system. Blue Ridge Waterworks provides expertise in well drilling, well pumps, complete water systems, and water filtration services.

Why Well, Pump & Water System Problems Should Be Addressed Properly

A problem that appears straightforward could also involve electrical equipment, a pressure tank, waterline, well condition, control system, or another part of the system. Ignoring the underlying issue can mean continued pressure problems, unreliable water, unnecessary equipment replacement, or additional repairs later.

Having qualified professionals who understand the complete water system is invaluable.

Water quality also can present concerns. Well water can vary considerably across western North Carolina and eastern Tennessee but also from one property to another. Testing the water helps determine what is actually present so homeowners can select a water filtration system based on their individual needs instead.

A Local Well Drilling & Well Pump Company Built for the High Country

Blue Ridge Waterworks has continued to grow while staying focused on the same purpose that led to its creation: helping local families and property owners maintain dependable access to water.

A major chapter in that history came in April 2025, when Blue Ridge Waterworks purchased Dewey Wright Well and Pump, the local well company where many members of the Blue Ridge Waterworks team had previously worked. The acquisition brought the two companies together and contributed to a team with more than 100 years of combined knowledge in wells and water systems.

Blue Ridge Waterworks continues to provide comprehensive service with a thorough understanding of each aspect of the water system. The team looks at how the well, pump, pressure equipment, electrical components, waterlines, storage, and filtration equipment work together.

Services include:

  • Water well drilling and well restoration
  • Well pump installation, service, and repair
  • 24/7 no-water emergency service

Dependable Water for Your Home, Property, or Future Build

The goal is straightforward: provide a properly designed water system that property owners can depend on.

For someone building a home, that may begin with drilling a new well and designing the pump and water system around the property’s requirements. For an existing homeowner, it may mean repairing a well pump, correcting inconsistent pressure, restoring an older well, or installing a whole house water filtration system based on water testing.

For someone facing a sudden no-water situation, it means having a local company available to determine what went wrong and work toward restoring water service.

Blue Ridge Waterworks serves Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, West Jefferson, Jefferson, Newland, Sparta, Wilkesboro, Lenoir, Morganton, and surrounding communities throughout western North Carolina and eastern Tennessee.

The result is more than repaired equipment — it is confidence that you will have a dependable water supply with superior water quality.
